Superior Customer Service

Is customer service a department in your company? Is customer service simply the title of an order entry department? Is customer service an empty shell, long on rhetoric but short on delivery? Does the term customer service actually mean anything, or is it a leftover expression from an era of days gone by?But promises are cheap especially in the bottled water delivery business. Every supplier of bottled water talks about superior customer service - but few deliver. Many large suppliers over promise to get the account and then require a draconian contract to hold the customer to substandard service and broken promises. It's a variation of the old "bait and switch" con.Schedule regular meetings to insure that everybody stays on the same page.  Often a manager will have a single meeting and think that a point is covered. Repetition and redundancy are great teaching vehicles. When a person hears a message once it is often forgotten. Repeated enough, however the message becomes engrained in their thoughts and manifested in their actions.

For all you customers out there (which means everyone), it is time to reclaim your God given right to receive Great Customer Service. It's called Free Will people, and I'm going to use my free will to change the world's view on customer service. One of the ways I plan on doing this is by refusing to do business anywhere that I receive poor customer service. Are you willing to help me in this mission? All you have to do is this: stop doing business in places that don't appreciate your business.G is for Going Out Of Your Way, just like the engineer who took a 50-mile detour on his way home from work just to deliver a phone to a customer who had been waiting all day for it.

When was the last time you did a blind test of your own customer service? Call and purchase something from your own company. Call and speak to your own customer service. Granted, if you are a sole entrepreneur or a new owner of a network marketing business, this will be challenging. If you are that new or that size company, you probably have more time to focus on exceptional service to each of your clients.
